The campus offers a variety of sporting activities from Cork College of FET teams to individual pursuits such as horse riding, fitness classes, swimming, Pilates, tennis, badminton and a range of the others. Activities are added each year as the student voice is always heard and responded to. College is the time to try our something new and exciting. It complements your academic work and opens up new challenges and opportunities.
The dedicated campus Activities Coordinator meets with the students each year and the clubs that develop vary from year to year including a Chess club and a Boardgames club this year. If students have an idea for a club we do everything we can to respond to it. Individual events like Escape Rooms etc work well in environments where students do not have ongoing time for commitment to clubs and these are facilitated throughout the year.
The campus hosts a number of societies including a Young Vincent De Paul Charter and links in with the Cork City LGBT group. Students are given the opportunity at our Volunteer fair to become involved in community societies and Cork based groups. There are also digital badges available to students for application which develop the broader skills of students.
