The College is a developing learning environment and is continually upgrading and improving its classrooms, laboratories, salons and computer rooms to ensure first class facilities for its students. Internet and computer access is available to all as well as supervised study in the Study Hall. The College has its own on-site canteen.

We have a long tradition of leadership in education and we are now providing online access to a range of learning materials on our courses. This gives you the opportunity to learn and explore certain topics in greater depth, take part in interactive content in your own time, and connect with your class in some cases with discussion forums regardless of your physical location. Our aim is to continue to develop this offering across a number of subject areas and in our employment advice and guidance service – the Jobs Hub.
Using Moodle, a world leading Virtual Learning Space, teachers can offer course material online using interactive learning and testing tools and linking to the breadth of multimedia content available online. Assignments can be submitted online and a range of devices can be used to access your course content, from anywhere and at any time. Letting you study and submit your assignments at your own speed and at a time that suits you best.

Some of our courses are enhanced by the opportunity to work in The Purple Pod, a simulated work environment, giving students a chance to work with the pressures and deadlines of every day work.

The college promotes student involvement in sports and other social activities. A huge range of activities are provided, examples include, rugby, golf, horse riding, basketball, tennis, spinning, zumba dancing, yoga, pilates, watersports and sailing. The college participates in the Colleges and Universities outdoor soccer league and runs an inter class indoor soccer competition. Students can also participate on CETB basketball and GAA football and hurling teams. Participation in these activities offers students the opportunities to enjoy the physical, social and health benefits associated with these pursuits. Most activities are completely free and are great fun.
