Cork College of Commerce was a vital stepping stone in my plan to progress onto third level education. After leaving school, I decided to work for a few years before I went back to education. The support and help I received during my year in College of Commerce was phenomenal. The teachers really showed how much they cared and understood, and were 100% there for you every step of the way. They really want you to succeed and will do everything to help you do so. Cork College of Commerce gave me a second chance at furthering my education and the year went by so quickly. I am now living in the Netherlands studying International Human Resource Management. The best decision I ever made was applying for a year long course here in 2019.
I found myself going back to education after 10 years, it was daunting but helped me grow and showed me how enjoyable college life can be. I got a full-time job in the dental practice where I did my work experience and am now continuing my education in UCC.
In my opinion, Cork College of Commerce is second to none in further education. The lecturers and staff in the college are so helpful and go above and beyond to help students. Fantastic for mature students as the support is constant. If you are thinking of attending CCOC, I am here to say you won’t regret it. By far the best decision ever.
I studied Human Resource Administration in the Cork College of Commerce.
I was going through a stage where I didn’t know what I wanted to do but I did know that I needed to be doing something. I needed to up my skills as quickly as possible so that I could get into the workforce and this was easiest way I saw to do that. I therefore decided to do a Course on HR Administration.
I was able to gain the skills that I needed to get a full time, permanent job, because the HR Administration course is so broad that it allowed me to get a job in a completely different field. I now work as a Legal Secretary. The course covered all the bases, whether you intend going into the world of work or going on to higher education, you will be well equipped.
I also got the chance to meet some amazing people that I would have never come across otherwise. It has set me on the path that I’m on right now and I am so grateful to the staff and all the teachers for being so helpful and willing to lend their wisdom and expertise at any moment.
All of that made the year an altogether enjoyable one. If you’re looking for a course that combines working with people and a broad knowledge of the world of work, then this is the course for you
I was a student of Level 5 Reception and Customer Care. It was a wonderful course where I gained much confidence. The Cork College of Commerce opened up new paths and the experience was invaluable. Overall I would say that the Cork College of Commerce was a wonderful College.
