Applicants must have successfully completed the Beauty and Body Therapy Level 5 course or equivalent.

The course costs €904 (this cost is subject to change) which includes exam fees (CIDESCO and ITEC), student services and materials payable to Cork College of FET – Morrison’s Island Campus.

Yes, students will be required to purchase kits as well as textbooks, which cost approximately €94 in total. These amounts are payable directly to the suppliers and the amounts are subject to change

When will I get an offer of a place if I am successful?2022-04-12T17:14:09+01:00

Applicants who complete and return the processing form before 1st June will receive offers of a place before June 3rd. All applications made over the summer will be processed in August and applicants will be notified late August/early September.

Yes, there is a lot of theory to learn.

Students will receive the following qualifications if they pass all exams.

  • CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma
  • ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Epilation
Is there work experience on this course?2022-12-12T14:09:55+00:00

Yes, students are released to do work placement one day a week. Students are asked to find their own work placement where possible. Students are also offered the opportunity to work in the College Salon on Fridays.

How long does the course run for?2022-04-12T17:21:03+01:00

The course will run from September to May. It is a full-time day course. Four days in the college and one day on work placement.
